| The exceptional Respiratory Care department, at Ozark Health Medical Center, consists of a vast and varied experience level. These skills range from emergent newborn deliveries, pediatric respiratory care, and COPD management of the extensive geriatric population in our service area. We also provide the initiation and maintenance of any ventilator patients both in the emergency area and the general floor care in the entire facility. Our respiratory staff has a combined experience stretching over 130 years. Our department members maintain certifications ranging from BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, RRT, CRT, NPS, and LRCP. We are very capable of taking care of all your respiratory needs. Our department provides care in the emergency department, on the general floor areas, and for outpatient services (see list of services provided). We also assist the surrounding areas with CPR and First Aid training. We strive to support and encourage everyone that our therapists encounter. We want to provide the general public with information concerning proper use of the most commonly used types of respiratory medication devices. The MDI or metered dose inhalers such as Albuterol or Proventil and DPI or dry powered inhalers such as Advair or Spiriva. This information is very important to the success of managing their disease process and any medication regime. Our hours of operation are: Clinical services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, outpatient services are normally scheduled from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday – Friday (exceptions weekends & holidays). We can do outpatient services outside of these times with prior arrangements. |
